Welcome to Linwood
Linwood is a residential city in eastern Atlantic County, positioned between Northfield and Somers Point and only a short drive from Ocean City and the Atlantic City area. The community was incorporated as a borough in 1889 and reincorporated as a city in 1931. Earlier, the area was known as Leedsville before the Linwood name was adopted in connection with the local post office.
