Rochelle Park is not a conventional tourist town, but it works well for a park-and-history day trip, Bergen County shopping visit or regional overnight stay.
The strongest visitor assets are Saddle River County Park, local historic houses, Route 17 access, nearby Paramus attractions and an active in-town Ramada hotel.

The county path runs roughly six miles through Rochelle Park and neighboring communities, with ponds, shade and historic features farther north.

Railroad history helped shape the township, although no active passenger-rail station operates today.
Rochelle Park was once part of a much larger Midland Township before surrounding municipalities separated and the current name was adopted in 1929.
The river corridor connects historic settlement patterns with today's county park and trail system.

County-park, municipal, hotel and shopping-center parking is governed by posted rules for each facility. Permit-required picnic/athletic areas should be reserved through the responsible agency.
