Welcome to Bernards Township

Bernards Township is a large Somerset Hills community that blends historic village centers, established residential neighborhoods, The Hills, major corporate and government employment, parks, natural areas and several distinct commercial districts.

Bernards Township is not Bernardsville Borough. Basking Ridge is the township's best-known postal place, but the municipality also includes Liberty Corner, Lyons and West Millington. Bernardsville is a separate municipality and its businesses are not counted as Bernards Township businesses.

Neighboring municipalities include: Bedminster, Bernardsville, Bridgewater, Far Hills, Long Hill and Warren.
