Saturday, September 19, 2026The Township has announced its annual Fall Town-Wide Yard Sales for September 19. Residents who want their sale location included on the official map are asked to register by September 11.

Advertise ClearlyInclude the sale date, start/end times, general categories of items and whether the sale is rain-or-shine.
Keep Access ClearDo not block driveways, fire hydrants, road shoulders, intersections or emergency access with vehicles or merchandise.
Temporary SignsBefore placing signs, confirm current Township zoning/right-of-way rules and never attach signs to traffic-control devices or utility infrastructure.
Pets, Lost Animals & Dog Licensing
Chester Township requires annual licensing for dogs over six months old. The Township states that dog licenses are renewed by January 31, proof of rabies vaccination is required, and cats are not licensed by the Township.
