Mullica Township · Atlantic CountyMullica Township is a spacious Pinelands municipality in northern Atlantic County. Much of daily life follows the White Horse Pike/Route 30 corridor and the township's network of rural roads, while the Mullica River and surrounding forest define the landscape around Sweetwater and the eastern side of the township.

Mullica Township students in grades 9–12 are assigned to Cedar Creek High School within the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District unless attending an approved magnet program.
The main municipal recreation complex is at 1513 Elwood Road, with the Pine Cone Zone playground, soccer and baseball fields, two batting cages, basketball and a concession area.

Mullica Township traces its municipal beginnings to 1838, when it was formed from western Galloway Township. The township and Mullica River take their name from Eric Mullica, an early Scandinavian settler associated with the river region.
The museum is housed in the Hilda Frame School at 3410 Nesco Road, Nesco. Current township information lists public museum hours on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.
