DINOSAUR FIND
Hadrosaurus Foulkii Leidy In 1858, William Foulke discovered the world’s first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton. Located where a suburban Haddonfield street dead ends against the deep woods of Pennypacker Park, the site is listed on the NJ Register of Historic Places and is marked with a modest commemorative stone. Just beyond the stone the ground drops away into a steep ravine where the bones of Hadrosaurus foulkii were originally excavated on the eve of the Civil War. The USS New Jersey is the most highly decorated battleship as it has seen more action than any other battleship in US Navy history. New Jersey was decommissioned for the last time in 1991, having earned a Navy Unit Commendation for service in Vietnam and 19 battle and campaign stars for combat operations during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Lebanese Civil War, and service in the Persian Gulf. After a brief retention in the mothball fleet, she was donated to the Home Port Alliance in Camden, New Jersey, and began her career as a museum ship on October 15, 2001.

Camden Children's Garden is designed for children and families. It is a special place to explore and discover the natural world. The four-acre garden provides horticultural experiences for creative and imaginative play.
