Schools & Education
Wyckoff Public Schools serves the township through four elementary schools and Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School. For grades 9–12, Wyckoff is part of the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District.

Wyckoff eighth-grade students may choose between Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes and Indian Hills High School in Oakland, subject to district regulations.
Parks, Nature & Recreation
An 81-acre Bergen County nature-education facility on Crescent Avenue with native woodlands, horticultural gardens, a waterfowl pond, exhibits and year-round programs.
594 Russell Avenue. Five acres with a walking trail, gazebo, educational arboretum, benches and a monarch-butterfly garden.
A 12.8-acre passive-recreation sanctuary on Crescent Avenue with garden paths, a pond, brook and diverse plantings.
Six acres of woods, pond and grassy areas near Franklin and Clinton avenues, opposite the historic Zabriskie House.
Approximately 18 acres on Wyckoff Avenue with soccer, four baseball/softball fields, a restroom facility and woodchip nature trail.
The township maintains additional active-recreation facilities and fields through the Recreation & Parks Department.
History & Historic Places
Wyckoff's historic identity reaches back to its early agricultural settlement and Dutch-American stone houses. The township has a Historic Preservation Commission and recognizes numerous historically significant structures.
421 Franklin Avenue. The township describes the Zabriskie House as having been built around 1730 and believes it to be Wyckoff's oldest building. It was left to the township with Early American furnishings for public enjoyment.
Wyckoff created its Historic Preservation Commission in 2019 to identify and help safeguard historic landmarks and the township's architectural heritage.

Cemeteries
Wyckoff's burial grounds are also part of the township's early history. Two notable historic cemetery sites remain within the community.

This approximately eight-acre, non-denominational cemetery has served the community since the 1820s. It includes historic family plots, veterans' graves, current in-ground burial areas and a columbarium.

This small historic burial ground dates to the first half of the 1700s and began on land associated with the Van Blarcom family. The earliest readable stone identified by the Wyckoff Historical Society dates to 1764.
Getting Around
Coach USA buses serve stops along Franklin Avenue, Wyckoff Avenue and Grandview Avenue toward the Port Authority Bus Terminal. NJ TRANSIT routes 148 and 164 also operate from the nearby Wortendyke section of Midland Park.
The municipal Park & Ride is at 495 Wyckoff Avenue. Wyckoff does not have its own NJ TRANSIT rail station; nearby stations include Waldwick, Ridgewood and Glen Rock.
