Hunterdon County · Bloomsbury Borough
Bloomsbury, New Jersey
A compact Musconetcong River borough where a historic village center meets the I-78 Exit 7 / Route 173 travel corridor.

About Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury sits along the Musconetcong River in northwestern Hunterdon County. The community developed around early ironworking and industry; the borough’s name is associated with the Bloom family and with the iron “blooms” produced by local forges. Bloomsbury was once part of Bethlehem Township and became a separate borough in 1905.
The borough has two distinct everyday landscapes: the compact Main Street–Church Street village and the Route 173 commercial corridor serving residents, regional traffic and travelers using I-78.
