Hainesport at a glance
The community was once known as Long Bridge. After Barclay Haines established a wharf and port on the Rancocas Creek in the 1840s, the name evolved through “Haines' Port” to Hainesport. Today the township sits between Westampton, Mount Holly, Lumberton and Mount Laurel.
