2026 Rockaway Township Town-Wide Yard Sale
Rockaway Township's official Town-Wide Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, rain or shine.
One Township-wide day allows shoppers to visit registered sales throughout the community.
Registered sellers are expected to be ready by 8:00 AM. The Township form says sellers may continue after 3:00 PM at their own discretion.
The current registration form requires a $10 donation, with collected funds designated for distribution to the Historical Society.
Registration is required. Registered participants receive an official event lawn sign that must be visibly displayed during the sale. The Township promotes the event through municipal channels.
Condo and apartment residents: The Township registration form states that residents of multifamily, condominium and apartment properties are responsible for obtaining prior approval from property management or the landlord.
Deadline note: The Township's current one-page registration PDF contains two different deadline references. Residents registering close to the event should use the Township's live registration information or contact the municipality rather than relying on a copied deadline.

2026 pet-license reminderTownship licenses expire December 31. Renewals are due by January 31; late fees begin February 1. Newly acquired dogs/cats and pets belonging to new residents must be registered within the Township's required timeframe.

Submitting a Rockaway Township classified
A useful submission should include a concise title, category, accurate description, general Township area, asking price if applicable and safe contact information. Yard-sale ads should include dates, hours and rain information.
