Official Public Notices Are Separate

Beginning March 1, 2026, Washington Township publishes legal notices on its official municipal website under the state public-notice requirements. NJTGO classifieds are not a substitute for legally required notices.

Pet & Animal Information

Township guidance states that dogs and cats seven months or older must be licensed annually and maintain qualifying rabies vaccination. The Township has also historically offered an annual free rabies clinic.

Posting & Scam Safety

Describe the item accurately and use realistic photos.
Do not publish financial details, Social Security numbers or unnecessary identity information.
Never provide verification codes to strangers.
Avoid gift-card, cryptocurrency and overpayment/refund schemes.
Meet in a safe public location when practical.
Remove the listing promptly when it is no longer active.

Prohibited Listings

NJTGO does not accept: firearms, ammunition, weapon parts, explosives, illegal or regulated weapons, controlled substances, recreational drugs, prescription medication, nicotine/tobacco products, alcohol, stolen property, counterfeit goods, recalled/unsafe goods, fraudulent financial schemes, pornography/adult sexual services, illegal wildlife or other unlawful activity.
