Welcome to Wenonah
Wenonah was founded in 1871 as a planned country-resort community along the West Jersey Railroad. The borough retains a distinctly residential character, with tree-lined streets, an established town center and an unusually large network of protected woods and trails for a municipality of its size.
The Wenonah Environmental Commission maintains more than six miles of foot trails with roughly 40 bridges through the borough's conservation lands. Wenonah Park and the John and Kathy Howard Park at Wenonah Lake add central green space and seasonal recreation.
