Branchburg is a broad Somerset County township where historic villages, preserved landscapes, major employment corridors and community institutions all share the same address. About Branchburg
Branchburg stretches roughly eleven miles through western Somerset County. The township includes North Branch and Neshanic Station along with smaller historic localities, residential neighborhoods, farmland, office and industrial areas, and commercial corridors along U.S. Routes 22 and 202.
The township’s waterways help shape its boundaries and landscape: the Lamington River lies to the north, while the North and South Branches of the Raritan River frame much of the east and south. Branchburg borders Bedminster to the north, Bridgewater and Hillsborough to the south and east, and Readington Township in Hunterdon County to the west.
