Do not rely on older restaurant lists

The borough's restaurant landscape has changed. For example, the former Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is closed, while newer operations such as honeygrow, Nothing Bundt Cakes and current café concepts now belong in the directory. NJTGO uses current operating evidence rather than preserving a business simply because it appeared on an earlier town list.

Coming soon is kept separate. Blue Star has announced future food tenants including Raising Cane's and Sakura Teriyaki. They are not counted as current restaurants until opening is confirmed.

How GF & DF badges work

GF requires current published support for a gluten-free or gluten-friendly choice. DF requires current published support for a dairy-free or vegan choice. Vegan options can support DF because vegan food excludes dairy, but preparation and cross-contact must still be confirmed.
